Attorneys with 1-2 years of civil litigation or employment law experience

Mostafavi Law Group, APC, an employment litigation boutique in West Los Angeles, has an immediate opening for a position for an associate attorney who will work representing our clients in all areas of employment law, including cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations.

The associate will have extensive client contact and the opportunity to work on cases in various contexts, including federal and state courts, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative agencies. The work involves researching, drafting, and opposing substantive motions, including Motions for Summary Judgment, Demurrers, Discovery Motions such as Motions to Compel, protective orders, and Motions to Quash Writs and Appeals. Experience in making court appearances and arguing motions in the trial court, and in taking and defending depositions and preparing clients for deposition testimony are preferred but not essential.

A successful applicant must have outstanding verbal and written communication and research skills. We are looking for a person with a great attitude about litigation and working in a team environment, who is able to handle cases from intake through trial and then the appeal.
